Finance Act, 2008
An Act to give effect to the financial proposals of the Central Government for the financial year 2008-09. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:
Armed Forces Tribunal Act, 2007
An Act to provide for the adjudication or trial by Armed Forces Tribunal of disputes and complaints with respect to commission, appointments, enrolment and conditions of service in respect of persons subject to the Army Act, 1950, the Navy Act, 1957 and the Air Force Act, 1950 and also to provide for appeals arising out of orders, findings or sentences of court martial held under the said Acts and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Act, 2007
An Act to make special provisions for the National Capital Territory of Delhi for a further period up to 31st December, 2008 and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. WHEREAS there had been phenomenal increase in the population of the National Capital Territory of Delhi owing to migration and other factors resulting in tremendous pressure on land and infrastructure leading to encroachment or unauthorised developments which are not in consonance with the concept of planned development as provided in the Master Plan of Delhi, 2001 and the relevant Acts and building bye-laws made thereunder; AND WHEREAS the Master Plan of Delhi, 2001 has been extensively modified and notified by the Central Government on 7 th February, 2007 with the perspective for the year 2021 keeping in view the emerging new dimensions in urban development vis-a-vis the social, financial and other ground realities: AND WHEREAS the Master Plan of Delhi with the perspective for the year 2021 specif

Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006
An Act to consolidate the laws relating to food and to establish the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India for laying down science based standards for articles of food and to regulate their manufacture, storage, distribution, sale and import, to ensure availability of safe and wholesome food for human consumption and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Delhi Value Added Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2006
An Ordinance further to amend the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Delhi Act No. 3 of 2005) Promulgated by the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the fifty-seventh year of the Republic of India. Whereas the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is not in session and the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is satisfied that the circumstances so exist which render it necessary for him to take immediate action. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the clause (1) of Article 239B read with clause (8) of Articles 239AA of the Constitution, the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby promulgates the following Ordinance after obtaining the instructions from the President of India in that behalf:-

Delhi Unemployment Allowance and Subsistence Allowance Scheme for Persons with Special Needs, 2008
In supersession of Unemployment Allowance to Persons with Disabilities Scheme, 2006 published vide notification No.F3(1)/FAS/UAPWD/DSW/06-07/28851-861 dated 13th November, 2006, the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to make the following rules for assistance of the unemployed persons with disabilities.
Delhi Liquor Licence (Amendment) Rules, 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 58 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Punjab Act 1 of 1914) as extended to the National Capital Territory of Delhi, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is please to make the following rules further to amend the Delhi Liquor Licence Rules, 1976 and since it is considered that they should be brought into force at once, he is further pleased to direct that they shall come into force without previous publication, namely:-

Telecom Unsolicited Commercial Communications (Amendment) Regulations, 2008
No. 15-2/2008-RE- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36. read with sub-clauses (i) and (v) of clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997), the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Telecom Unsolicited Commercial Communications Regulations. 2007(4 of 2007). namely:-
Indian Police Service (Pay) Rules, 2007
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) and in supersession of the Indian Police Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned, hereby makes the following rules, namely:-

Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi (Family Welfare Worker) Group 'C' Post, Recruitment Rules, 2007
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession of the Safdarjung Hospital (Class III posts) Recruitment Rules, 1973, insofar as it relates to the post of Family Welfare Worker, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Family Welfare Worker in the Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, namely:-
